The Northmead Country House is an escapist’s dream abode. Something new, something old. This spacious homestead has been furnished and equipped to a very high standard and retains much original charm and character.

Beautifully sanded and varnished wooden floors and beamed ceilings provide a warm atmosphere. The absence of Eskom guarantees a romantic stay with candles and LED lights.

It offers four bedrooms with woolen duvets and hot water bottles, a bathroom with shower over bath and second separate toilet. Lovely farmhouse style kitchen with coal / wood burning stove as well as a gas stove and fridge.

It is like stepping back in time for a bit to a quieter way of living.

The dining room features an open fireplace for cozy winter evenings. The spacious separate sunroom is the perfect place to settle in with a book or a card game on a relaxing break.

There is also a beautiful old style desk – a good place for some old style snail mail generation.
